IMANI Announces The David Project: Pebbles for our Slingshots, a 2009 Compassion Capital Fund Grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families.

The David Project is a capacity building program for nonprofit organizations that provide social services to low income individuals and families. It provides practical, hands-on training, technical assistance, and financial sub-award grants for faith-based organizations (FBOs) and community-based organizations (CBOs).  The goal is to strengthen the sustainability of grassroots CBOs and FBOs in the city of Dallas by assisting them in enhancing their leadership development, organizational development, program development, and community engagement.
